Although I worked next to the 203X1-1s I can't recall many of them now, other than Darling, Jones (first names not recalled) & Sgt. Johnson who was one of the 203 trick chiefs on Charlie Flight.
After Bababer, I went back to Yale University for an intermediate language course and served another USAFSS overseas tour at the 6987th at Shulinkou Air Station on Taiwan. The training and experience I gained through 61 months of active duty with USAF was invaluable, and enabled me to enjoy a subsequent rewarding and productive career in the private sector prior to retiring over ten years ago.

I travelled extensively, in Pakistan, as well as, Afghanistan. I successfully closed the training facility, in record time and was given an onward assignment to my 3rd tour of duty at 6987th Security Group, Shu Lin Kou AS, Taiwan. I was Honorably Discharged at McChord AFB, Wa on 1 December 1971, after 8 years, 9 months and 6 days of active duty. I then worked for the U.S. State Department for 21 years,from 1974 until retirement on 3 January 1995. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Comments: After Syracuse and Goodbuddy, my first tour overseas was at Peshawar. About midway in my tour families started arriving. That was probably in 1961. I'm kind of looking for Raymond (Maggie) Maguire or Bob Johnson or any of the other guys in Ops during the 1960-52 timeframe. I hope to attend the Reunion in San Antonio Sep 2006. See you there.

Just read the article by Maj. Gen. Vernon B. LEWIS Jr. on the home page regarding veterans saluting the flag rather than holding a hand over the heart. I whole heartedly agree with this and would encourage all veterans of which ever service and when ever you served to adopt this practice and pass the word around in their community and among their veteran groups.
