I hope all of you are having a great HOLIDAY SEASON.  I am

taking a few days off and hope to get caught up a little on

Association tasks.  FWI - The polling we did for reunion

dates indicates that We should be having our reunions in

October.  Next job is to select a location for the 2007

reunion.

Came in from 6981st to 37th shortly after Pak/India war.

Worked Lt. Sheridan's flight(D, I think). Besides ditty

Played flag FB and slow pitch. Knew "Falvie" Ledet from

6981st. Got off bus together when earthquake hit. Wonder if

E J is Falvie? Retired DPS in Ia and now teach in Az.

Peshawar was my first assignment out of Keesler.  What an

eye opener.  The Indians started bombing Karachi our first

best assignment but I can honestly say I never went

Although I worked next to the 203X1-1s I can't recall many

of them now, other than Darling, Jones (first names not

chiefs on Charlie Flight.

After Bababer, I went back to Yale University for an

intermediate language course and served another USAFSS

Great to find this site.  Anyone who was at PAS during this

time please email me.  I coached the womens softball team

spent in BEAUTIFUL Pakistan. I played softball and flag

football.  Thanks for keeping the 6937th memories

other guys in Ops during the 1960-52 timeframe.  I hope to

Just happened to stumble on this wonderful site that

instantaneously brought the most wonderful memories of my

childhood. I had the fortune to spend my child hood in

Badaber. We were the first group of Pakistan Air Force

families that moved in right after USAF left. It was a

mystery and fantasy land for me to experience a 'mini

America' and always wondered who were the people who lived

here before us!!!. Any old residents of 1406 ZEBB LARR????

Excited....

Ditty-bopped, did some 5 level teaching, worked the board

in front of NCOIC's desk at times. Not a bad tour for

working and sports. Played on slow pitch team (SSG James

coach and pitcher). James also a very good barracks chief.

Played flag football. I think we came in 2nd to Charlie in

1966. Most of the guys were great people and I enjoyed

working with them. Now retired DPS and presently special ed

Great to see the book up and going again. Hope we have a

lot more of the early 60's guys finding the site and

logging on.

Just read the article by Maj. Gen. Vernon B. LEWIS Jr. on

the home page regarding veterans saluting the flag rather

than holding a hand over the heart. I whole heartedly agree

with this and would encourage all veterans of which ever

service and when ever you served to adopt this practice and

pass the word around in their community and among their

veteran groups.

Hope to be in San Antonio, as much as I dislik that town.
